Grant competition open to international applicants announced at International Youth Festival
At the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg, Anton Dolgov, Executive Director of the Presidential Grants Foundation, announced the upcoming launch of its first open international competition for public-interest, environmental and social impact projects.
Projects submitted to the competition should help strengthen dialogue among people in different countries, beyond the political sphere. “One of the competition’s key areas will be support for digital content creators and producers, including projects involving popular science and practical, audience-focused work. The content created by participants will help people in Russia and in the applicants’ countries get to know one another better. Projects will have the best chance of success if they clearly show the tangible value their content will bring to its audience,” a Foundation representative said.
Applications open on October 1, with the results to be announced by November 30. Grants will be available to individuals, with awards of up to RUB 3 million, and organizations, with awards of up to RUB 5 million.
The International Youth Festival brought together 10,000 young leaders from 191 countries, creating a space for young researchers, civil society representatives and cultural figures to connect.
